Interrail Italy Pass Conditions.
|
|
|
The Interrail Italy Pass is a pass allowing either 3, 4, 6 or 8 days of unlimited travel over the entire network of the Italian State Railways, Trenitalia, within a one month period.
The Interrail Italy Pass is available to anybody who normally lives in Europe or has lived in Europe, or any of the countries participating in the Interrail offer, for at least six months immediately prior to the first day of travel.

With the Interrail Italy Pass the holder has the right to unlimited travel on all Trenitalia trains for the number of days bought, however if specific seat reservation is made a payment of €3 is required.
|
|
Travelling on Eurostar Italia, IntercityPlus, Eurocity, TBiz and Cisalpino services is permitted upon payment of a supplement which is also inclusive of a compulsory reserved seat; the cost of this supplement is variable between €5 and €25 for either 1st or 2nd class travel.
|
|
|
Holders of the Interrail Italy Pass are entitled to 30% discount (reduced to 15% discount during the summer) on the Italy-Greece routes operated by HML, Hellenic Mediterranean Line, running between Brindisi and the ports of Igoumenitsa, Patras, Corfu, Zante, Paxi and Sarni.

Interrail Italy Pass holders are entitled to 20% discount on the following connections with the shipping company Grimaldi Ferries:
- Civitavecchia-Barcelona
- Salerno-Valencia
- Palermo-Valencia
- Salerno-Tunisi
- Palermo/Trapani-Tunisi
- Salerno-Malta

The Interrail Italy Pass is available for travel in First or Second class.

The Interrail Italy Pass is personal and not transferable and is available only to Europeans permanently resident outside Italy.
|
|
Children aged between four and eleven years pay half the adult fares.
|
|
Completely unused passes can be refunded, less an administration fee of 20%, if returned to RailChoice before the start of their validity date. Partially used passes are not refundable.
|
|
|
A lost or stolen pass cannot be re-issued or refunded.
|
|
|
If your journey starts after 19:00 hours, the following day's date may be entered.
|
|
|
Youth passes are the same as adult passes, but they are only available to young persons under the age of 26. Same rules and conditions apply, however they can only be issued in Second class.
